    Taylor Schmidt, Keri Morrison, Kristy Shoebridge, Jairus Maus, Matthew Morrison and Landon Zeeman, who attended Week 1 of the Canada Winter Games, February 23rd - March 1st, in Whitehorse, Yukon, and who each brought home a silver medal in the 3000m short track relay.

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
    The Cambridge Speed Skating Club wishes Bob Laurence and Paul Shoebridge every success in competing at the 16th Masters International Speed Skating Games February 22-25, 2007 at the Olympic Oval, Calgary, Alberta!

    Due to the huge response for this competition, they have had to limit the number of skaters to 353.
    The following numbers will represent the various countries:
    CAN - 91, GER - 41, NED - 70, NOR - 60, USA - 50, Other Nations - 41.

    Bob and Paul will compete in the following distances:
    500 m, 1500 m, 3000 m and 5000 m.

    This will affect those travelling to Midland, Michigan for the North American Short Track Competition.

    The entire Cambridge Speed Skating Club proudly recognizes ERNIE OVERLAND who was named 'COACH OF THE YEAR' at the Ontario Speed Skating Association AGM held earlier this month. We are very honoured to have Ernie as our head coach and admire his continued commitment and unconditional dedication to the sport of speedskating and most importantly to our athletes.
