  • Parents Guide to Speed Skating
    Canada Speed Skating (www.speedskating.ca) has prepared an introductory resource to be used by parents and/or skaters. The guide is meant to supplement other information provided by the Cambridge Speed Skating Club or available on the Internet. Readers are encouraged to seek further information from other skaters, coaches or parents.

  • Fall/Winter Registration
    Welcome to the 2011-2012 Speed Skating Season!

    Registration takes place at Hespeler Arena, Tuesday September 6 and Thursday September 8, 2011. Please be there for 5:15 p.m. registration and skate rentals. Please bring completed Registration form, together with payment and signed Code of Conduct to registration. NOTE: These will be available shortly.

    Registration for GUEST SKATERS may apply to attend starting TBA and is based upon acceptance. Download Registration form and Code of Conduct from the chart below.

  • Fees
    • Regular Speed Skating Program
      • Blake's Group (Silver) / Marg's Group (Bronze)
        Skate Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
      • Ernie's Group (Gold)
        Skate Mondays, 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

      • Program Fees:
        • Option 1: 1.5 hours/week $TBA
        • Option 2: 3 hours/week $TBA
        • Option 3: 5 hours/weeks $TBA

      • It is mandatory that one family member over 18 years of age be an associate member.
        Cost - $ TBA

  • Payment Terms
    • Payment paid by cheque or cash.
    • 4 monthly payments due the 15th of every month, commencing September TBA, 2011. All 4 post-dated cheques MUST accompany this application at the start of the season.
    • NSF Charge on returned cheques - Fee: $35
    • Child Fitness Tax Credit receipts will be issued in February.

    NOTE:
    RENTAL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. SKATES MUST BE RETURNED IMMEDIATELY SHOULD A SKATER CHOOSE TO QUIT THE PROGRAM BEFORE THE END OF THE SEASON.
