Letter to Clubs and Coaches The list below indicate the athletes who have qualified for the 2008 Ontario Winter Games in Collingwood, and show a ranking of all athletes who applied for the games. Qualified athletes are identified in the list with a numeral beside their name, and alternate athletes are identified in the list with an “Alt” beside their name. CLICK HERE to view Qualified athletes and alternate athletes are required to review the attached 2008 Ontario Winter Games Participant Code of Conduct, the OSSA Code of Conduct, and complete the attached 2008 Ontario Winter Games Conditions of Participation and Waiver Form. An original copy of the completed 2008 Ontario Winter Games Conditions of Participation and Waiver Form is due to the OSSA office by January 31, 2008. Athletes who wish to withdraw from participating at the 2008 Ontario Winter Games are requested to notify the OSSA office as soon as possible so that an alternate athlete may be promoted. Scratches can be submitted to tlandon@speedskatingontario.org. Further information about the schedule, travel, and accommodations for the 2008 Ontario Winter Games will be communicated shortly. Clubs will be contacted individually about their Coaches and Managers for the Games. Please congratulate and notify the qualified athletes and alternates in your club of their status for the Games by providing them with copies of the attached forms and assist them in submitting the required form by the January 31 deadline.
